The Afar language (Afar: 'Qafár af') (also known as Adal, ’Afar Af, Afaraf, Qafar) is an Afroasiatic language, belonging to the family's Cushitic branch. It is spoken by the Afar people in Djibouti, Eritrea and Ethiopia.
