Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, colloquially referred to as BPI, Poly, and The Institute, is a U.S. public high school founded in 1883. Though established as an all-male trade school, it is now a coeducational institution (polytechnic) that emphasizes sciences, Technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). It is located on a 53-acre (21 ha) tract of land in North Baltimore at the intersection of Falls Road and Cold Spring Lane, bordering Roland Park to the east and I-83 to the west.
