Dave Freeman (22 August 1922 – 28 March 2005) was a British film and television writer, working chiefly in comedy.As well as writing sketches for comedians such as Elsie and Doris Waters (Gert and Daisy) in the radio series "Floggit's", Tony Hancock and Arthur Askey, Freeman wrote screenplays for comedies including Jules Verne's Rocket to the Moon (1967), Carry On Behind (1975) and Carry on Columbus (1992) as well as being a regular series contributor to Bless This House.
