Deborah "Debbie" Paredez (born December 19, 1970) is an American poet, scholar, and Associate Professor of English at the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of the poetry collection, This Side of Skin, and the critical study, Selenidad: Selena, Latinos, and the Performance of Memory.
