Delgany (Irish: Deilgne, meaning "Thorny Place") is a suburb of Greystones in County Wicklow located on the R762 road which connects to the N11 road at the Glen of the Downs. It is about 25 km (16 mi) south of Dublin city centre. While urban development has made Delgany contiguous with the rest of Greystones, the area still retains a distinct village identity. Delgany is separated from the western edge of Greystones proper by the Killincarrig area.
