Douglas Buck is an American film director.Buck grew up in Long Island, later moving to New York City, where he began making films while working as an airport electrical engineer. Buck started by making short films, including Cutting Moments (1997), Home (1998), and Prologue (2003), all three of which were collected together in the Family Portraits anthology. Rue Morgue magazine selected Cutting Moments as one of its "100 Alternative Horror Films".
