Eve Chalom (born October 22, 1979 in Detroit, Michigan) is a retired American figure skater. She twice won the silver medals in ice dance at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships with Mathew Gates. Chalom is almost entirely deaf, having lost most of her hearing in both ears after a childhood accident. She received bachelor degrees from the University of Michigan in English and Philosophy. Chalom currently resides in Chicago where she works as a modern dancer.
