James "Jim"/"Jimmy" J. Featherstone (1923 - 6 May 2014) birth registered in Wigan, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1940s and '50s playing at representative level for Great Britain, England, and Lancashire, and at club level for Wigan (twice), Warrington, Belle Vue Rangers, and Rochdale Hornets, as a Prop, or Second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.
