Kundagannada or Kundapur Kannada is a dialect of Kannada Spoken in Kundapur Taluk of Udupi district, Karnataka. Some people who speak this language claim that the Kundapur Kannada has maintained original Kannada and chaste Kannada that has not been much influenced by other languages.It is also called as Kota Kannada as it is spoken by people of Kota and Kota brahmins of Karnataka. Brahmavar in south, Shiroor village in north, Siddapur and Hebri is the area where this dialect is spoken.
