Myongji University was founded in 1948 and is located in South Korea. It provides higher education in the fields of engineering, sciences and humanities. It has two campuses: one in Namgajwa-dong, Seodaemun-gu in downtown Seoul and the other in Yongin, 35 kilometres (22 mi) south of Seoul. It is made up of 6 colleges, encompassing 34 departments and divisions, a graduate school, and 8 specialized postgraduate programs.
