Sartaj Aziz (Urdu: سرتاج عزيز‎; born 7 February 1929) TPk, is a Pakistani economist, statesman, strategist, and the current National Security Advisor (NSA) as well as key adviser on the foreign policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He is equivalent to the Foreign Minister in the current government . He is a veteran Pakistan Movement activist, and a former professor of macroeconomics at the Beaconhouse National University (BNU).
