The Swedish Transport Administration (Swedish: Trafikverket) is a government agency in Sweden. It is responsible for long-term infrastructure planning for all kinds of transport: road, rail, shipping and aviation. It owns, constructs, operates and maintains all state-owned roads and railways and operates a large number of ferry services.The Riksdag and the Government of Sweden decide what direction the work of the agency is to have.
