Taieb Baccouche (born in Jemmal, Tunisia 1944) is the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs. Baccouche previously served as the Minister of Education and official spokesperson of the Government of Béji Caïd Essebsi. He became the Tunisian Minister of Education in January 2011 after the Tunisian revolution.Baccouche travelled to France in 1965 to study at the Sorbonne where he obtained a degree in Linguistics in 1966 and an aggregation in Arabic in 1968.
