The album's title was inspired by the album 400 Degreez (1998), by a fellow rapper Juvenile (who he also was in the label from the Cash Money Records).The album debuted at number 6 on the US Billboard 200, selling 103,000 copies in the first week. On September 3, 2002, the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
