Shaybah ibn Hāshim (Arabic: شيبة ابن هاشم عبد المطّلب; c. 497 – 578), better known as ‘Abdul-Muṭṭalib, since he was raised by his uncle Muṭṭalib, was the grandfather of Islamic prophet Muḥammad.
