Adrian D. Smith (born August 19, 1944) is an American architect of international renown, having designed many landmark buildings including the world’s two tallest structures: Burj Khalifa, completed in 2010 in Dubai, and Kingdom Tower, now under construction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which is planned to become the world's next tallest at 1,000 m (3,300 ft).
