Ajdar Anık better known as Ajdar (born in Mardin, Turkey on 10 February 1973) is a Kurdish origin mechanical engineer from Turkey who is also a singer and songwriter. He is known for his unorthodox singing style.He graduated from Trakya University in mechanical engineering and worked in the domain for eight years. He launched a singing career by gaining fame by taking part in the selection rounds for in 2003 and creating controversy with the jury who said he could never be a pop singer.
