Albert Francis "Al" Gionfriddo (March 8, 1922 – March 14, 2003) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as an outfielder. The slightly built 5 ft 6 in (1.68 m) and 165 lb. player batted and threw left-handed. Gionfriddo made his major league debut on September 23, 1944 at the age of 22 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a career .266 hitter whose best year was in 1945 when he hit .284 with 9 triples and 74 runs scored for the Pirates.
