Alaşehir (Turkish pronunciation: [aˈɫaʃehiɾ]), in Antiquity and the Middle Ages known as Philadelphia (Greek: Φιλαδέλφεια, i.e., "city of brotherly love") is a town and district of Manisa Province in the Aegean region of Turkey.
