State Route 28 is a 97-mile-long (156 km) state route in the western part of the state. The route’s western terminus is at the junction with State Route 17 at Emelle in northwestern Sumter County, and the eastern terminus of the route is at the junction with State Route 21 near Darlington in eastern Wilcox County.
