Alan B. Berg (August 27, 1916 - July 31, 1989) was an American politician and forestry professor at Oregon State University. Berg served on the city council of Corvallis, Oregon, from 1973 until 1978. He later served as the Mayor of Corvallis for two terms from 1979 until 1986.Berg married his wife, statistician Helen Berg, in 1983. The couple remained married until his death in 1989. Helen Berg would later be elected as Corvallis' first female mayor from 1994 until 2006.
