Alan G. Walton OBE (April 3, 1936 – July 4, 2015) was a scientist and the Chairman of Oxford Bioscience Corporation, who also served on numerous Boards of Directors. Walton was instrumental in the development and funding of the Human Genome Project. TThrough his association with Oxford Bioscience, Walton managed over $850 million in a portfolio that included 80 companies. In 2012 he was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth.
