Alfred Rust (July 4, 1900 Hamburg - August 14, 1983 Ahrensburg) was a German archaeologist and prehistorian. Self-taught, he became a pioneer in the study of culture in Hamburg (late Paleolithic culture in northern Europe), especially through his excavations in northern Germany.B.E.
