Andala Ramudu is a 1973 film directed by Bapu. The story is based on the "Janata Express" story of Mullapudi Venkata Ramana. The film won Nandi Award for Best Feature Film in 1973. Recent film Godavari by Sekhar Kammula enthusiastically made on this classic family entertainment film. This is debut film for Latha Sethupathi and Nutan Prasad.The film has an excellent soundtrack by K. V. Mahadevan and most of the songs are sung by V. Ramakrishna.
