Andrew Garrett (1823–1887), was an American explorer, naturalist and illustrator.Garret specialised in malacology and ichthyology. He spent much of his life in the South Seas. Between 1861 and 1885 he was employed as a collector by the Museum Godeffroy in Hamburg. He also undertook illustrations for the works ofanother American malacologist William Harper Pease.
