Sir Robert Andrew Stunell OBE MP (born 24 November 1942) is a Liberal Democrat politician in the United Kingdom. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hazel Grove, from the 1997 general election until he stood down at the 2015 general election. From 2010 to 2012 he served as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department of Communities and Local Government. He was nominated for a life peerage in August 2015.
