Antonio Margheriti (19 September 1930 – 4 November 2002), also known under the pseudonym Anthony M. Dawson, was an Italian filmmaker.Margheriti worked in many different genres in the Italian film industry, and was known for his science fiction, horror, spaghetti western, Sword and Sandal, war and action movies. He was born in Rome and died in 2002 from a heart attack in Monterosi, Viterbo, near Rome at the age of 72.
