The Apple Widget was a 10 MB internal hard disk drive. It was manufactured for the Apple Lisa 2/10, which was launched in January 1984. The Widget hard drive had a voice-coil actuator, but it had a proprietary interface and controller, even though most hard drives of the time used the ST-506 interface. Unlike its related Apple ProFile external hard drive, the Widget only had 10 MB of capacity, was only used in one product, cannot be used externally and was entirely designed by Apple.
