Tun Datuk Dr Haji Awang bin Hassan (November 1910 – October 23, 1998) was a Malaysian politician born in Muar, Johor. He was educated by Sekolah Bukit Zahrah in Johor Bahru and continues his secondary at English College Johore Bahru. Awang began attendance at the King Edward VII College of Medicine (now the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore) in the 1930s.
