Babacar Gaye (born 31 January 1951 in Saint Louis, Senegal) is a Senegalese Army General who was the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) until his forced resignation following repeated reports of murder and sexual abuse by soldiers under his command.
