Bago, officially City of Bago, is a second class city in the province of Negros Occidental in the Philippines, some 21 kilometres (13 mi) south of the provincial capital Bacolod. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 163,045 people.Bago operates a subsidized college, Bago City College, located at Rafael M. Salas Drive in Barangay Balingasag. Most of its students come from Bago and from the southern part of the island.
