Benjamin P. Cherington (born July 14, 1974) is an American professional baseball executive. He was formerly the executive vice president and general manager of the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball. On October 25, 2011, he succeeded Theo Epstein in the position, having worked in the team's baseball operations office since 1999, before Epstein's arrival.
