Bernard Sydney Llewellyn Deane (2 January 1918 – 1 April 1999) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1950 until 1972. He was a member of the Liberal Party of Australia.Deane was born in Mudgee, New South Wales. He was the son of a coach builder and was educated to intermediate level at state high schools. He also studied for a religious ministry and was awarded doctorates in theology and philosophy.
