William "Billy" Dwyer (born 1934) was an Irish hurler who played as a centre-back for the Kilkenny senior team.Born in Kilkenny, Dwyer first excelled at hurling during his schooling at St. Patrick's De La Salle. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-two when he first linked up with the Kilkenny senior team. He made his senior debut during the 1956 Walsh Cup.
