The Boguchany Dam (Russian: Богучанская ГЭС) is a large hydroelectric dam on the Angara River in Kodinsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Its primary purpose is hydroelectric power production and it will have an installed capacity of 2,997 MW. After decades of project delays, the first two generators were commissioned with the dam's inauguration on 15 October 2012.
