The Bolivian squirrel (or Guianan squirrel) (Sciurus ignitus) is a tree squirrel in the family Sciuridae endemic to South America. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil and Peru at elevations up to 2,600 metres (8,500 ft) in the Andes region. Details of its habitat are not clear but it was found in primarily evergreen, lowland, tropical forest between humid and dry tropical forests. Nothing else is known about this species hence the "Data Deficient" status.
