Bramble Cay, also called Naizab Kaur, Massaramcoer or Baramaki, and located at the northeastern edge of the Torres Strait Islands of Queensland and at the same time at the northern end of the Great Barrier Reef, is the northernmost point of land of Australia. It is also 55 kilometres (34 mi) southeast of the mouth of the Fly River of Papua New Guinea, at the southeastern tip of Kiwai Island.
