Charles Richard "Bubba" Wells (born July 26, 1974) is a retired American professional basketball player. He played briefly for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played collegiately for Austin Peay State University and was named 1997 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year.Selected 34th by the Mavs in the 1997 NBA draft, the little-used small forward's NBA career was short-lived, consisting of just 39 games of the 1997–98 season.
