Buckshaw Village (often shortened to Buckshaw) is a new residential and industrial area between the towns of Chorley and Leyland in Lancashire, the original area of Buckshaw being part of Euxton. It is one of the largest urban development sites in the North West of England with a population of about 4,000.The new development is taking place on the former site of the Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) Chorley, and covers several square kilometres.
