Buruanga is a fifth class municipality in the province of Aklan, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 16,962 people. It is located at the most western tip of Panay Island. It is a coastal town bounded on the north by Malay; on the south by the municipality of Libertad, Antique; and at the west by Cuyo East Pass of the Sulu Sea.
