Buyeo or Puyŏ (Korean: 부여; Hanja: 夫餘 Korean pronunciation: [pujʌ]) was an ancient kingdom located in parts of southern Manchuria and northern Korea, from around the 2nd century BC to 494. Its remnants were absorbed by the neighboring kingdom of Goguryeo in 494.
