Cameron Smyth (born August 19, 1971) is a Republican politician who served in the California State Assembly. He succeeded Keith Richman who was term-limited.Prior to being elected to the state legislature, Smyth served on the Santa Clarita City Council, where he was first elected in 2000 and re-elected in 2004. During his time on the council, Smyth twice served as mayor, first in 2003 and again in 2005.
