Captain Shreve High School (CSHS) is one of the largest high schools in Shreveport, Louisiana. Founded in 1967, the school is built in the shape of a three-story circular building. CSHS gained national attention when one of its alumni, author Will Clarke wrote about his high school experience in the essay, "How to Kill a Boy that Nobody Likes". The story, published in Simon & Schuster's anthology When I Was a Loser, was banned in 2007 by a school district in Rhode Island.
