The Chathams galaxias, Galaxias rekohua, was the name given to a species of galaxiid fish endemic to Chatham Island, New Zealand. It is now known as Neochanna rekohua, or the Chatham mudfish. The fish was discovered in 1994 by C.P. Mitchell, who placed it in the genus Galaxias. In 2004, R.M.
