Chester Gorham Osborne (born September 18, 1915, at Portsmouth (New Hampshire), and died December 26, 1987 in (Center Moriches (New York)) was an American composer, conductor, music instructor, trumpeter, and author. His compositions ranged from marches to opera. His writings included historical essays and children's novels.
