The Chinese Canadian ethnic group are Canadians of full or partial Chinese – particularly Han Chinese – ancestry. They comprise a subgroup of East Asian Canadians which is a further subgroup of Asian Canadians. The Chinese community in Canada is the one of the largest overseas Chinese communities and is the second largest Overseas Chinese community in North America after the United States, and also the seventh largest in the Chinese diaspora.
