Christopher Dickey (born August 31, 1951) is the Paris-based world news editor for The Daily Beast. He is also the author of seven books, including Our Man in Charleston: Britain's Secret Agent in the Civil War South, published in 2015; Securing the City: Inside America's Best Counterterror Force – the NYPD, published in February 2009; and a memoir about his father, the late poet and novelist James Dickey, Summer of Deliverance, published in 1998.
