Clas Edvard Friström (23 January 1864 – 27 March 1950) was a New Zealand artist and art teacher.Friström was born in Torhamn, Blekinge County, Sweden on 23 January 1864.Sometime in the 1880s he moved to Brisbane, Australia, where he was known as Edward Friström, and his brother Oscar Friström was an established portrait painter; they often exhibited together.
