The Cleveland Panthers were a professional American football team that competed in the first American Football League, founded by Charles "C.C". Pyle, (1882-1939), [also nicknamed as "Cash and Carry" Pyle), in 1926. Owned by General Charles X. Zimmerman, (1865-1926), (the vice president of the earlier AFL), the Panthers played their home games in old Luna Bowl in Luna Park. Coached by Roy E.
