Clifford Evans (17 February 1912 – 9 June 1985) was a Welsh actor. As a conscientious objector he served in the Non-Combatant Corps in World War II.During the summer of 1934 he appeared in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Open Air Theatre in London.Evans played many parts in British films of the 1930s, before starring in the film The Foreman Went to France (1942).
